 LionHeart 2008 Preview
The Children's Heart Foundation - Oregon Chapter, is holding its 5th annual festival of family fun, Lion Heart in Laurelhurst. Groove to the beat of Kukuva Marimba, jump sky high in the bouncy house, have your face painted, learn to walk on stilts, spin a plate, clown around with Circus Cascadia, or let your three and under tot crawl around Pitter-Patter Land. Enjoy a show by the Hoop Shine Girls, check out your favorite bugs with Oregon Zoo Bugs and have some fun with balloon artist Joe Mishkin. Join the Parade of Courage led by courageous children with congenital heart defects. Test your agility on the rock wall for $5 per climb. Contribute to the communty art project and visit more stations – all in the spirit of preventing and treating the number one birth defect: congenital heart defects.

All ages. All events and food included in the ticket price. July 12th 11:00 - 3:00 in the NE quadrant of Laurelhurst Park at S.E. 39th and Ankeny.
